BASKETPONG NOW AVAILABLE AT T.I.S. COLLEGE BOOKSTORE AND THE INDIANA SHOP IN BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA

New game combines the competitiveness and skill of games like basketball and darts with the fun and excitement of other outdoor activities such as bean bag toss or corn hole

BRIDGEPORT, W.V. – August 7, 2012 – XPS, LLC, creator of innovative and exciting games for recreation, fun and tailgating, is pleased to announce that its new BasketPong™ game is now available for sale at several retail locations in Bloomington, Ind., including the T.I.S. College Bookstore, located at 1302 E. 3rd Street, and The Indiana Shop, which has locations at 421 E. Kirkwood Avenue and 2894 E. 3rd Street. BasketPong combines the competitiveness and skill of games like basketball and darts with the excitement of other outdoor activities such as bean bag toss or corn hole.

BasketPong comes in a lightweight, compact carrying case and can be easily assembled for play within minutes. Similar to a basketball hoop, BasketPong features a vertical set-up, including a backboard, stand and base. The backboard features eight slots to insert rims and cups or nets in different patterns, which allows you to customize the game and play at various skill levels. The goal of the game is to eliminate each basket by shooting the BasketPong balls into the cups or nets. Additionally, traditional basketball-related games such as Horse or 21 can be played. BasketPong is also suited for play in a swimming pool because it floats.

“BasketPong is sure to stand out to customers who visit the T.I.S. College Bookstore or The Indiana Shop,” said Paul Cappuccio, founder of XPS. “Students and area residents will enjoy the game variety and portability offered by BasketPong, which is great for recreation, fun and tailgating.”

The T.I.S. College Bookstore and The Indiana Shop, both owned by the T.I.S. Group, are officially licensed suppliers of Indiana University gear. The retail locations offer a variety of apparel, giftware, textbooks, school supplies and accessories. For more information about the T.I.S.
